Block Out Level 3 Walkthroughs & Guide

Block Out Level 3 takes seven moves. The bottom green bar blocks the red and blue gates, so you slide it right, clear red, slide it left, clear blue, and only then send the green bars out.

The board is 5 columns wide and 7 rows tall. Three vertical bars (red, yellow and blue, from left to right) stand in the middle, with a green bar lying across the top of them and another green bar across the bottom. The green gate is on the top edge, the yellow gate is on the right edge, the red gate is in the bottom-left corner and the blue gate is in the bottom-right corner.

Step 1. Slide the Bottom Green Bar Down and Right

Drag the bottom green bar down one row and to the right, so it sits in the bottom row against the right wall. The red bar now has a path to the red gate in the bottom-left corner.

Step 2. Send the Red Bar Out the Bottom-Left Gate

Drag the red bar down and left through the red gate in the bottom-left corner.

Step 3. Slide the Green Bar to the Left

Drag the same green bar left along the bottom row so it sits against the left wall. This opens the bottom-right corner for blue.

Step 4. Send the Blue Bar Out the Bottom-Right Gate

Drag the blue bar down through the blue gate in the bottom-right corner.

Step 5. Send the Top Green Bar Out the Top Gate

Drag the top green bar straight up through the green gate.

Step 6. Send the Yellow Bar Out the Right Gate

Drag the yellow bar right through the yellow gate on the right edge.

Step 7. Send the Last Green Bar Out the Top Gate

Drag the remaining green bar from the bottom row up through the green gate on the top edge.

Notes and Precautions

Both corner gates sit right under the bottom green bar at the start. Neither red nor blue can leave until that bar moves.
The top green bar sits above the yellow bar. It does not block yellow's exit to the right, but clearing it early keeps the top lane open for the last green bar.

Tips and Tricks

The same block can be moved more than once. Here the bottom green bar moves twice before it leaves.
With two blocks of the same color, clear the one with the shorter path first.
