Block Out Level 28 takes 43 drags. Each block is drawn in its color and size; (column, row) is the block's top-left cell (for a shaped block, the top-left corner of the box around it).

Part 1: Step 1

  1. Drag red 3×1 block at (1,9) out through the red gate on the bottom edge.

Part 2: Steps 2–11

  1. Drag blue 3×1 block at (1,8) to (1,9).
  2. Drag yellow 3×1 block at (4,8) to (1,8).
  3. Drag red 3×1 block at (4,7) to (4,8).
  4. Drag cyan 3×1 block at (1,7) to (4,7).
  5. Drag yellow 3×1 block at (1,8) to (1,7).
  6. Drag red 3×1 block at (4,8) to (1,8).
  7. Drag pink 3×1 block at (4,9) to (4,8).
  8. Drag blue 3×1 block at (1,9) to (4,9).
  9. Drag red 3×1 block at (1,8) out through the red gate on the bottom edge. The blue gate on the bottom edge opens.
  10. Drag blue 3×1 block at (4,9) out through the blue gate on the bottom edge. Shutter 3 opens and the blocks under it appear.

Part 3: Steps 12–15

  1. Drag yellow 3×1 block at (1,7) to (1,8).
  2. Drag pink 3×1 block at (4,8) to (1,9).
  3. Drag cyan 3×1 block at (4,7) to (1,7).
  4. Drag blue 3-cell shaped block at (5,5) (it was under Shutter 3) out through the blue gate on the bottom edge.

Part 4: Steps 16–19

  1. Drag cyan 3×1 block at (1,7) to (4,9).
  2. Drag cyan 2×1 block at (3,6) (it was under Shutter 3) to (5,8).
  3. Drag pink 3-cell shaped block at (1,5) (it was under Shutter 3) to (5,5).
  4. Drag yellow 3×1 block at (1,8) out through the yellow gate on the left edge.

Part 5: Steps 20–21

  1. Drag pink 3×1 block at (1,9) to (3,7).
  2. Drag red 2×1 block at (3,5) (it was under Shutter 3) out through the red gate on the bottom edge.

Part 6: Steps 22–24

  1. Drag cyan 3-cell shaped block at (1,4) (it was under Shutter 3) to (2,8).
  2. Drag pink 2×1 block at (3,4) (it was under Shutter 3) to (2,6).
  3. Drag yellow 3-cell shaped block at (5,4) (it was under Shutter 3) out through the yellow gate on the left edge. Shutter 7 opens and the blocks under it appear.

Part 7: Steps 25–26

  1. Drag pink 2×1 block at (2,6) to (3,4).
  2. Drag red 1×3 block at (2,1) (it was under Shutter 7) out through the red gate on the bottom edge.

Part 8: Steps 27–28

  1. Drag pink 2×1 block at (3,4) to (5,4).
  2. Drag yellow 2×2 block at (3,2) (it was under Shutter 7) out through the yellow gate on the left edge.

Part 9: Steps 29–30

  1. Drag pink 3-cell shaped block at (5,5) to (1,6).
  2. Drag green 2×1 block at (3,1) (it was under Shutter 7) out through the green gate on the right edge.

Part 10: Steps 31–32

  1. Drag pink 3-cell shaped block at (1,6) to (3,5).
  2. Drag red 1×3 block at (5,1) (it was under Shutter 7) out through the red gate on the bottom edge.

Part 11: Steps 33–35

  1. Drag blue 1×3 block at (1,1) (it was under Shutter 7) to (3,2).
  2. Drag pink 3-cell shaped block at (3,5) out through the pink gate on the left edge.
  3. Drag pink 2×1 block at (5,4) out through the pink gate on the left edge.

Part 12: Steps 36–37

  1. Drag blue 1×3 block at (3,2) to (6,4).
  2. Drag pink 3×1 block at (3,7) out through the pink gate on the left edge.

  1. Drag blue 1×3 block at (6,1) (it was under Shutter 7) to (1,4).
  2. Drag cyan 3-cell shaped block at (2,8) out through the cyan gate on the right edge.
  3. Drag cyan 3×1 block at (4,9) out through the cyan gate on the right edge.
  4. Drag cyan 2×1 block at (5,8) out through the cyan gate on the right edge.
  5. Drag blue 1×3 block at (6,4) out through the blue gate on the bottom edge.
  6. Drag blue 1×3 block at (1,4) out through the blue gate on the bottom edge.

Notes and Precautions

  • A block only leaves through a gate of its own color.
  • The number on a frozen gate, a Shutter or an ice block counts down every time a block leaves the board. At 0 it opens.
  • At the start the Shutter shows 7, 3. The blue gate on the bottom edge shows 2. Open at the start: the red gate on the bottom edge, the yellow gate on the left edge, the green gate on the right edge, the pink gate on the left edge, the cyan gate on the right edge.
  • A block marked "(it was under Shutter N)" appeared when that Shutter opened.
  • A Layer Block leaves in two parts. The outer layer comes off at its gate and the block inside stays next to the gate, so it needs a second drag.
  • Ice blocks do not count down while a Shutter covers them. They start counting when the Shutter opens.

Tips and Tricks

  • Do the steps in order. Each part ends when a block leaves the board.
  • If a block is not where a step says, check the steps before it.
  • The parts that end in a Shutter opening are a good place to check that your board matches.

When the last block leaves, the board is empty and the level is complete.
