Block Out Level 46 takes 40 drags. Each block is drawn in its color and size; (column, row) is the block's top-left cell (for a shaped block, the top-left corner of the box around it).

Part 1: Step 1

  1. Drag blue 2×2 block at (1,6) out through the blue gate on the left edge.

Part 2: Steps 2–7

  1. Drag green 2×1 block at (3,7) to (1,6).
  2. Drag blue 1×1 block at (5,7) out through the blue gate on the left edge. The green gate on the right edge opens.
  3. Drag green 2×2 block at (6,6) out through the green gate on the right edge.
  4. Drag green 2×1 block at (1,6) out through the green gate on the right edge. Shutter 4 opens and the blocks under it appear.
  5. Drag green 3×1 block at (1,8) (it was under Shutter 4) out through the green gate on the right edge. The red gate on the right edge opens.
  6. Drag blue 1×2 block at (3,9) (it was under Shutter 4) out through the blue gate on the left edge.

Part 3: Steps 8–12

  1. Drag red 3×1 block at (5,8) (it was under Shutter 4) to (1,8).
  2. Drag pink 1×1 block at (7,9) (it was under Shutter 4) to (7,6).
  3. Drag cyan 3-cell shaped block at (4,9) (it was under Shutter 4) to (3,9).
  4. Drag blue 4-cell shaped block at (5,9) (it was under Shutter 4) to (4,9).
  5. Drag red 2×1 block at (3,6) out through the red gate on the right edge.

Part 4: Steps 13–16

  1. Drag purple 1×1 block at (5,6) to (1,6).
  2. Drag blue 4-cell shaped block at (4,9) out through the blue gate on the left edge.
  3. Drag red 3×1 block at (1,8) out through the red gate on the right edge. Shutter 9 opens and the blocks under it appear.
  4. Drag red 2×2 block at (1,9) (it was under Shutter 4) out through the red gate on the right edge.

Part 5: Steps 17–18

  1. Drag purple 1×1 block at (1,6) to (5,6).
  2. Drag yellow 2×1 block at (1,5) (it was under Shutter 9) out through the yellow gate on the left edge.

Part 6: Steps 19–20

  1. Drag green 3-cell shaped block at (1,3) (it was under Shutter 9) to (2,7).
  2. Drag pink 1×1 block at (7,6) out through the pink gate on the left edge.

Part 7: Steps 21–23

  1. Drag purple 1×1 block at (5,6) to (2,9).
  2. Drag green 3-cell shaped block at (2,7) out through the green gate on the right edge.
  3. Drag red 3-cell shaped block at (1,2) (it was under Shutter 9) out through the red gate on the right edge. Shutter 14 opens and the blocks under it appear. yellow 2×2 block comes out of the generator at (1,3).

Part 8: Steps 24–25

  1. Drag purple 1×1 block at (2,9) to (6,9).
  2. Drag yellow 2×2 block at (1,3) out through the yellow gate on the left edge. purple 3-cell shaped block comes out of the generator at (1,2).

Part 9: Steps 26–29

  1. Drag cyan 2×1 block at (6,5) (it was under Shutter 14) to (1,8).
  2. Drag pink 3-cell shaped block at (6,3) (it was under Shutter 14) to (1,4).
  3. Drag blue 3-cell shaped block at (6,2) (it was under Shutter 14) out through the blue gate on the left edge. pink 1×2 block comes out of the generator at (6,2).
  4. Drag purple 1×1 block at (6,9) out through the purple gate on the right edge.

Part 10: Steps 30–40

  1. Drag pink 3-cell shaped block at (1,4) to (4,9).
  2. Drag purple 3-cell shaped block at (1,2) out through the purple gate on the right edge. red 3-cell shaped block comes out of the generator at (1,2).
  3. Drag pink 1×2 block at (6,2) out through the pink gate on the left edge. cyan 3-cell shaped block comes out of the generator at (6,2).
  4. Drag red 3-cell shaped block at (1,2) out through the red gate on the right edge.
  5. Drag green 2×1 block at (1,1) (it was under Shutter 9) out through the green gate on the right edge.
  6. Drag pink 3-cell shaped block at (4,9) out through the pink gate on the left edge.
  7. Drag cyan 3-cell shaped block at (3,9) out through the cyan gate on the top edge.
  8. Drag cyan 2×1 block at (1,8) out through the cyan gate on the top edge.
  9. Drag cyan 3-cell shaped block at (6,2) out through the cyan gate on the top edge. blue 2×2 block comes out of the generator at (6,2).
  10. Drag blue 2×2 block at (6,2) out through the blue gate on the left edge.
  11. Drag cyan 2×1 block at (6,1) (it was under Shutter 14) out through the cyan gate on the top edge.

Notes and Precautions

  • A block only leaves through a gate of its own color.
  • The number on a frozen gate, a Shutter or an ice block counts down every time a block leaves the board. At 0 it opens.
  • At the start the Shutter shows 4, 9, 14. The red gate on the right edge shows 5; the green gate on the right edge shows 2. Open at the start: the cyan gate on the top edge, the pink gate on the left edge, the blue gate on the left edge, the purple gate on the right edge, the yellow gate on the left edge.
  • A block marked "(it was under Shutter N)" appeared when that Shutter opened.
  • A generator is the purple box beside the board. Once the cells in front of it are empty, it pushes its next block in. The number on it is how many blocks it still has.
  • A Layer Block leaves in two parts. The outer layer comes off at its gate and the block inside stays next to the gate, so it needs a second drag.
  • Ice blocks do not count down while a Shutter covers them. They start counting when the Shutter opens.

Tips and Tricks

  • Do the steps in order. Each part ends when a block leaves the board.
  • If a block is not where a step says, check the steps before it.
  • The parts that end in a Shutter opening are a good place to check that your board matches.

When the last block leaves, the board is empty and the level is complete.
